Our new factory at Rochester has passed its opening quality audits with flying colours.  Our certification body, CPC, carried out detailed investigations into all processes and controls at the factory and concluded that the factory and its products meet all the necessary requirements under the Construction Products Regulation and ISO 9001.

This is particularly important with a safety-critical product like a floor beam because it’s against the law to start selling the beams until external auditors are satisfied with our quality and have issued a certificate.

Congratulations to everyone at Rochester on a job well done!  Thanks also to staff at Washwood Heath Rail Factory and Wick Floors, who have provided invaluable support.  And last but not least, thanks to CEMEX Readymix who have supplied the concrete while we commission the on-site batching plant at Rochester.  Great collaboration all round!
