This Monday saw 1,224 people in our Aggregate operations stand down for 90 mins to focus on health and safety.  This included Aggs, Asphalt and Marine.   Like the Readymix Plants did earlier in the year, every Aggregate operation stopped working – this included 750 Aggregate people, 274 Asphalt people, and 200 Drivers.  All 70 Aggs sites, 31 Asphalt sites and 6 Paving Gangs downed tools.  Another great example of CEMEX UK putting Health & Safety above all else.
