Staff from Preston Brook Planning team recently completed a Lend-a-Hand assignment at Oakmere Cricket Club. This is a community sports club near our Forest Hill Quarry in Cheshire.
Led by Supply Chain Director Neil Farmer, the team of Nicola Kate Mccumiskey, Joyce Reed, Samuel Smith and Phil Guest were tasked with painting a 90 metre post and rail fence, to enable some hoardings to be erected. It was a chilly but otherwise bright and dry day and an enjoyable time was had by all whilst doing a good job for a worthy cause. The job was completed in good time. Plans are now underway for the next trip – given the need to man the phones at Preston Brook, only so many can attend in one go.
