Streamlining Cement Customer Certification

CEMEX Cement has recently implemented a new approach to the provision of data for our customer certification needs by using our existing web based platform. Whilst the customer’s experience largely remains unaffected as what they see is generally the same, the collection and manipulation of the data behind the scenes has been modified to provide a much quicker, easier and automated way for data to be transferred by laboratory staff from the test bench to the customers certificate.

Dan King (Logistics), Ed Castleton (Cement Operations) and Chris Clarke (Cement Commercial) pooled their technical prowess to develop the new system which is based on PI-Data and uses tablet computers for ease of use.
