CEMEX announced that it received the Sello Verde de Verdad (True Green Label), granted by the Colombian company Ecologic S.A.S and the certification of neutralisation of greenhouse gas emissions linked to transport activities in Colombia, issued by the Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification (ICONTEC Internacional). This certification makes CEMEX the first company in the country with carbon neutral certification on its entire vehicle fleet.

Through this certification, CEMEX joins Colombia’s and other 190 countries’ commitment at the 2015 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, celebrated in Paris.
