Nine members of the Rugby Readymix CSC went to Tesco last week to help give out shopping lists of much needed items to the shoppers and then helped sort donations to help the Rugby Foodbank Christmas Appeal.

Thanks go to: Ali Eldergill, Sue Payne, Elena Stanoiu, Dhiren Mistry, Sam White, Amanda Walker, Lewis McCance, Paige Evans and Dale Marson who all stood out in the cold for a few hours to encourage shoppers to support the Foodbank.  This is the second time this year the RMX CSC have helped with this project at Tesco, as well as collecting food across the 4th floor and more recently organising the collection bin in the Rugby lobby so the whole building could get involved.

Lucy Birch, RMX UK Customer Service Manager, commented: “Rugby Foodbank aim to give out 200 Christmas hampers this year as well as continuing to distribute emergency food and support people in crisis, and we look forward to being involved again next year.”
