The team at Jarrow Wharf has the Cherry Sand from UK Dredging on site for a second visit in an attempt to remove materials that have accumulated over the years due to a stand off from stumps left when the original wharf was demolished.

Kevin Cage comments: “It is proving difficult to gain the depth we are targeting and as you can see from the picture visibility and targeting of specific spots are difficult as the grab is essentially a dragline on a vessel floating where the Master directs. Fingers crossed we get it all out!”

It makes the grabber machines at the fair look easy!!
