Mike Higgins thanked all those involved in the R & D Plant trials at Wickwar – it was a great example of ONE CEMEX collaboration with Aggregates, Asphalt and Readymix working together to realise the trials.

Following employee R & D project proposals and working closely with our colleagues in CRG, the UK Product R & D Committee have been exploring how a new process can help us create a new product from waste materials at our Aggregates sites through the normal production processes. The trials were a success and Mike and his team now move to extensive laboratory evaluations of the material produced.
