Uckfield Plant in East Sussex had a major makeover. The Area 24 team tidied, swept, cleaned and painted to bring and improve the safety and welfare standards of the Plant.

Throughout the last month, and on the day itself, significant improvements have been made to the drying room and storage container, more space has been created for a new carpark and a general clean-up has been made to a good standard. Hand rails, steps and other hazards have been painted yellow to make them conspicuous, and a new pedestrian walkway is also being installed imminently to fully segregate pedestrians from vehicles.
