Ian Phillips spent a really enjoyable day last Friday showing Harfan (Plant and Field Technician West Yorkshire) and James (Plant Manager York) around Dove Holes Quarry. He gave them some guidance on various Aggregate production and testing methods. Both are currently studying towards a City & Guilds in Concrete Technology and the visit was designed to support elements of the learning material. They were engaged throughout and said they found it really useful to see the site and process first hand.
