Whilst there were no Lost Time or Reportable Injuries for Europe West Materials last week, over the weekend a contractor driver in Spain suffered an injury to his hand which required three stitches.

At this stage it appears that, while washing down his truck after delivering a load of concrete, the driver trapped his finger between the chute and wash container.  An investigation is underway to establish the causes of the incident and how we may avoid future injuries while carrying out this activity.
