Andy Higson posted these images on Yammer of the removal of the old Attenborough quarry conveyor bridge as the Rail team take away our old quarry building! Not a sight you see every day.

N&R Contractors were the demolition sub-contractors responsible for the demolition of the old quarry. The conveyor bridge spans the railway lines and had to be taken down during a “rail possession”, with a working window 1am – 6am Sunday morning.

Well done to Andy and the team for two years of planning and a massive amount of paperwork needed to make these possessions happen.
