After a career spanning 50 years, Mick Walker, one of the IHCs at York, retired this week.
Mick started way back on 1st July 1969 and has fond memories of his past roles with RMC and CEMEX. Over the years Mick has driven out of Leeds, York and Ripon delivering concrete with a smile. He spent a short period of time away from the business working on tippers during his 50 years.
Mick will be swapping his concrete mixer for a milk float where he will help out for a couple of mornings to keep busy. Mick will be missed by the Yorkshire team and customers. Good luck Mick and enjoy your retirement.
