A retirement party was held for Mervin Timmis of South Ferriby Works, who has retired after 40 years service at the plant. 

Mervin was a Noduliser Attendant for many years and was also the last member of his family to have worked at the site with many of his relatives, including his father, who all had previously worked at South Ferriby.
