A big THANK YOU to all the employees who agreed to participate in the salary deferral programme, following the request from our CEO Fernando González.

Hundreds of people signed up. It is excellent to see so many people agreeing to take part – a substantial percentage of the UK employee base. Your support to our company during the COVID-19 pandemic is greatly appreciated – you are playing an important role in helping CEMEX’s cashflow and protecting the future of the company during a very difficult period.

It is understood that our employees are all in different circumstances and there may be many who wanted to support the programme but were unable to. Please do not worry if you were not able to sign up – it is a voluntary scheme and your decision remains completely confidential. The scheme is now closed.
