Following the launch of our Vertua range of lower and low carbon concretes we have seen plenty of interest from contractors, designers and clients on how to specify for a more sustainable construction.

Earlier this week Richard Kershaw, National Technical Manager, presented at The Concrete Centre’s, Low Carbon Concrete Webinar, which had over 650 virtual attendees.

The presentation included:

• A reminder on the performance benefits of concrete
• Lower carbon concretes using materials meeting current design codes
• Low carbon concretes using our geopolymer solution
• How changes in design and specification can lead to a more sustainable construction

Another positive step towards the use of lower and low carbon concretes from CEMEX.
