Concerns have been raised about visitors sharing pens, pencils etc. when signing in and out of sites. To avoid this consider nominating someone to sign people in and out. This will also prevent visitors touching the sign in book.

Don’t forget to manage the risk of inadvertently sharing other items, particularly in communal areas.  Encourage teams to think about how we can minimise common “touch points” – for instance, containers for tea or coffee. Where possible, remove these or ensure disinfectant wipes and hand sanitiser can be used before and after.
