Should the worst happen and you are a victim of theft (or simply
lose your device) you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that you can keep your data secure with the find device apps available on iOS and Android.
Simply sign in with your Apple ID or Google credentials – you will then see your device on a real time map.
There are a few options to choose:
- Play Sound – plays a repeating beep on your device to help you locate it
- Directions – get sat nav directions to the location of your device
- Mark as lost/secure device – locks the device rendering it useless to anyone without your passcode
- Erase this device – locks the device and deletes all data from it (to be used as a last resort!)
