It is hard to believe that it is already well over halfway through 2021 – our Health & Safety review has thrown up some important results

There is an increasing trend in the number of contractor injuries.

Top causes of all incidents: 32% slips, trips and falls, 14 handling lifting or carrying, 11% each of contact with moving machinery, exposure to harmful substances, hit by moving objects.

The top five focus areas for focus going forwards are:

• Health and wellbeing
• Embed new take 5 and permit to work formats
• Traffic management improvements
• Commence roll out of Zero4Life today training programme
• Maintain appropriate COVID controls
