Next Tuesday 17th May is World Hypertension Day.
Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, often has no noticeable symptoms.
If untreated, it increases your risk of serious problems such as heart attacks and strokes.
The theme for this year is Know Your Numbers, and we would like to encourage as many people as possible to get involved in May Measurement Month.
The British Heart Foundation website shares a wealth of information about high blue pressure, including information explaining blood pressure numbers.
