As you may have seen, the RMT Union have announced a further day of strike action later this month, on Wednesday 27th July. This is currently planned to start at 2am on the Wednesday morning and runs into the early hours of Thursday.
This will affect a number of rail operating companies, including Network Rail, and is likely to cause severe disruption.
The Supply Chain team is working hard to mitigate the impact to our operations wherever possible, and is in contact with the relevant business areas around this.
However, for employees who are planning to use the rail network for travel on this date, for instance for meetings or training, it is worth exploring alternative methods of transport or potentially rescheduling.
