CEMEX has switched to paperless delivery to improve sustainability and help decarbonise Readymix business.
A new move to a paperless delivery system for its UK Readymix business will eliminate the need for CEMEX to print 120,000 Readymix delivery dockets annually – saving 13 trees every year.
This is the latest of the company’s efforts to enhance the sustainability of its operations and reduce carbon emissions as part of its dedicated climate action strategy Future In Action.
From 5th September 2022, Readymix customers will receive digital delivery tickets via CEMEX Go, CEMEX’s industry-leading end-to-end platform that allows users to check the status of jobs, place and track orders, access records, pay invoices and more. This will be a phased roll out by market area, beginning with the North West of the UK.
