As you will likely know, Monday 19th September will be a national Bank Holiday, to coincide with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral.
This is to allow individuals, businesses and other organisations to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign, while marking the final day of the period of national mourning.
CEMEX UK is recognising this day as a Bank Holiday and individual Managers will communicate with their local teams about how this will be managed by each business area. Please contact them directly if this hasn’t already happened.
Additionally, there will be a National Moment of Reflection that will take place at 8pm on Sunday 18th September. This will be marked by a one-minute silence.
The silence can be marked privately at home, with friends and family, out on doorsteps or the street with neighbours, or at locally arranged community events and vigils.
