This week, EMEAA Regional President, Sergio Menendez, has been visiting some sites in the UK.

On Monday, Sergio visited our rail solutions facility at Somercotes in Derbyshire (photo top). Accompanied by EMEA VP Urbanisation Solutions, Marcelo Catala, Sergio officially opened a new facility to meet increasing customer demand for our bearers and sleeper products. The new development will produce the heavily engineered, low volume complex sleepers that are required for infrastructure projects such as those on the London Underground. Sergio continued his week by visiting our new head office in Coventry on Tuesday where he hosted the EMEA Health & Safety webcast, the Admixtures operations at Rugby Cement plant (photo bottom) on Wednesday and then on to our rail facility in Rochester on Thursday.
