The Government have announced that the NHS COVID-19 App will be closed down from the end of April: NHS COVID-19 app – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

With this in mind and considering the relatively low frequency of positive cases reported across the business since the start of the year, the UK Health and Safety Committee have agreed that, going forwards, positive cases no longer need to be logged on the central database.  Any absence should, however, still be recorded in SAP.
