The Materials UK Management team continue to significantly increase their VFLs in April and May to increase our visibility within the business and to focus on safety in the workplace and with our Drivers.

Last week Paul Nicholson, Operations Manager Readymix, undertook a VFL with a new Driver at Cemex’s Hereford Concrete plant, who was delivering to a local farm. “After doing his induction training a few weeks ago it was great to spend some time in the cab and on site with Kirien. It was pleasing to hear that he is enjoying the job and fully engaged on what I discussed with him.”
