The team at Cemex’s Springetts Asphalt plant in Stoke on Trent have recently made some Health and Safety improvements at the plant. The dust suppression system has been upgraded with new spay heads, a bigger water tank and a larger pump.

Cemex has an obligation to minimise dust on our sites and prevent it being released across our site boundaries or dragged out onto roads.

To improve water conservation there are future plans to capture rainwater from off the top of the plant and the cold feed bin roof and divert it into the new tank using guttering.
