The Secure Workplace Project is a global security initiative, principally aimed at our office premises. Whilst many aspects of the project are not new, our move to our HQ Offices in Binley in particular, makes for a timely revisit and relaunch to many aspects of the secure office plan.

Over the next few months our office premises throughout the UK will be the focus for uplifted attention in general office security. We can all play our part in improving security standards and behaviours.

Office based staff should look out for forthcoming advice on a variety of secure office behaviours, including:

• Clear desk practices.
• Access Control & Security Pass use and protocols.
• Safe cyber related behaviour.
• Asset management enrolment for Cemex laptops.
• Remote working and connectivity.
• Safe document handling and protective marking.

A poster and supportive mixed-media campaign will be launched over the coming months and all colleagues, particularly those based at or regular visitors to our office premises, are encouraged to participate and promote related good practice.
