Brian is Ultra Marathon Man!

Brian Peters, Shift Manager at our Rugby Cement Plant, is planning to run an epic 100K Ultra Marathon in July to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and in memory of his son Jack.

His 100K, 62 mile run will take Brian around the Gower Peninsula in South Wales on 23rd July, and he would really appreciate your support to raise money for a charity which is very close to his heart.

Brian explained: “Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) and Sparks (of which GOSH is combined with) needs donations for research into childhood illnesses and support for families in bereavement, so any money I can raise will greatly help in these areas. I appreciate any amount no matter the value. Our son Jack would have been 27 years old so this is the right time to announce this challenge, celebrate the joy he gave us for the precious time he was with us, and attempt the challenge in his name, as always helping me raise my bar higher than I ever thought I could.”

If you would like to support Brian’s epic challenge, head over to his JustGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/brian-peters-4. Thank you.
