Road Safety at Griffin School

Recently Darrell Colin and Tracy Booker from the Rugby Cement Plant Supply Chain team visited their local Griffin Primary school in Rugby, along with a Cement truck. They spent the morning with Reception and Year 1 children (ages 4 to 6) teaching them about road safety, being safe around large trucks, blind spots and bicycle safety.

Each child received their own high-vis jacket to take home, reminding them to stay safe when walking or biking with their parents.

Feedback from the school was very positive with the teachers sharing: “We’d like to thank Darrell and his team for a wonderful morning. They adapted it to our Year 1 and Reception class perfectly! Thank you so much to the Cemex team for their visit.”
