For the past few weeks, colleagues at our Coventry Head Office have been counting down to Christmas with various charitable activities, with a sustainability theme.

Organised by the Binley More Sustainable Group, colleagues came together to support KidsOut UK, a charity which provides Christmas gifts to children and young people who have had to flee domestic abuse, leaving home with only the clothes on their back. Together, the Head Office team gifted over 100 gifts to children who typically receive very little, or in some cases nothing at all at Christmas. These gifts have ensured that some of the thousands of children in refuges across the UK, will have something to open on Christmas Day, and at times when they need it most.

Colleagues also came together to support the Check Your Ducks campaign, raising over £300 for the Shine A Light Charity. Organiser, Michelle Walsgrove, shared: “Because of your support we’re helping spread a message that can genuinely make a difference. The more people who remember to Check Their Ducks, the more awareness we can raise, and that awareness can lead to early detection of cancer, better outcomes, and lives changed for the better.”

On Christmas Jumper Day colleagues brought in food and together celebrated a fantastic festive buffet. With festive outfits and fun games, together they had a holly good time.
