Cemex UK has reopened its Dove Holes Building Products facility in Derbyshire. This follows the completion of a significant investment programme, which has modernised the plant’s operational processes.

Delivered in two phases, the investment has seen brand-new machinery and technologies installed at the facility, modernising operational processes and enabling Cemex to expand its Concrete solutions offering in the long term.

Lex Russell, Materials Managing Director at Cemex UK, said: “This vital investment will help future-proof operational activities at the plant by incorporating modern systems that enhance the health and safety of employees, make site processes more efficient, and support our wider commitment to sustainability.”

The site’s reopening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony held by UK Materials MD, Lex Russell, and Samantha Leigh, National Sales Manager for Concrete Products.
