North West Readymix Team is Smashing it!

The North West Readymix team delivered an outstanding April performance, beating budgeted volume for the first time in more than 18 months, a fantastic achievement for the whole team.

A special thanks goes to the new virtual hub team who, despite only recently coming together, have already made a huge impact through proactive customer engagement and excellent service. Their efforts, alongside support from colleagues across other Cemex areas, have helped improve asset utilisation and increase fleet productivity.

During the month, the team achieved seven 1,000m³+ days while operating with a fleet size of 30 vehicles or fewer on most days, a brilliant result that is helping drive improvements in key financial metrics including EBIT and ROIC.

This success is a real reflection of the teamwork, collaboration and commitment shown across the business as we continue building momentum for a successful year in Readymix despite ongoing economic challenges.
