On Sunday 17th colleagues from the Cemex Yorkshire Readymix team, along with family and friends, completed the 8.5 mile Jacob’s Ladder circular walk to raise funds for Headway York, a brain injury charity.
The walk was in support of a valued customer whose late partner had received vital help from the charity and later gave back by supporting others.
Despite a difficult year, the event provided a positive focus and brought people together for a meaningful cause. We’re proud to have raised £780 for the charity and support for our customer and the important work Headway does in the community.
A big well done to Rowan Russell for organising and thank you to John Parker and the rest of our Yorkshire team for giving up their Sunday and for everyone who donated.
