We have recently had three Safety Alerts from across our region.

The first is a Video Safety Alert, highlighting a high-potential incident involving a vulnerable road user. A motorcyclist narrowly avoided serious injury, reinforcing the importance of staying alert to unpredictable road user behaviour, particularly on the nearside of vehicles.

With increased numbers of vulnerable road users during the holiday season, all drivers should remain especially vigilant and aware of their surroundings, including in higher-risk areas such as junctions, traffic lights, and urban environments.

The following two Safety Alerts are from incidents that occurred in our Cemex UAE operations.  The Alerts refer to a Readymix truck rollover that occurred because of speed and a pump operator who dislodged Concrete shuttering with a hammer that resulted in an injury to his shoulder.  Both reinforce the need for hazard awareness, line-of-fire avoidance, supervision, and safe driving.
