After the terrible fire that devastated Notre-Dame last April, CEMEX is participating in the preparatory works for its future restoration. From its Paris-Ivry site, CEMEX supplies several formulas of ready-mix concretes, including high-performance concretes, for the slab built by the construction firm BJF. This technical work will encapsulate the first floor of the crane that will cover the surface of the damaged structure of the building.

As part of its health and safety policy, CEMEX pays particular attention to the risk of lead pollution present on the site. On site, the drivers of the trucks do not leave their vehicle, and the trucks are disinfected after each pouring.
