We are proud to announce that Cemex UK is the first country in Europe to formally launch the BIM REVIT plug-in.

Early conversion and specification management is an important process where we can introduce engineers, architects and other specifying designers to our innovative products and solutions, with the goal of educating and ultimately Cemex products being specified in project designs.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is currently the leading method for designing construction projects. The predominate software in use by over 80% of the specifier community is called REVIT. Cemex has developed a global system called a REVIT plug-in which enables our sustainable and innovative concrete solutions to be available to architects and engineers within their design software, REVIT. This is an industry first and a powerful tool for specifiers. It has been received very positively by the market.

The UK was the first country in Europe to formally launch the REVIT plug-in. UK National Technical Manager, Mike Higgins, presented the new plug-in at UK Construction Week earlier this month and the Specification Management Team provided live demos on our Cemex stand.
