In July and August this year, sand from some of CEMEX’s marine aggregate licence areas was supplied to the huge Bacton to Walcott Sandscaping Scheme on England’s North Norfolk coast. The coastal defence project involved replenishing the beach to protect local villages and the Bacton Gas Terminal from coastal erosion.
