Brett Burrows, Quarry Manager for Leyburn, found a sales lead in the local Richmondshire newspaper which provided details of a new 20 mile mountain bike cycle trail to be constructed.  Jeffery Sewell, Sales Rep, explains: “Brett’s lead was followed up by the local Sales Rep who contacted Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Park Ranger made contact and promised to send our details on to their approved contractor, Conservefor.  The contractor made contact and after negotiations a 500tonne order was secured, with a further 1,500tonnes to follow for Leyburn Quarry.

This is teamwork at its best, somebody taking the time to pass on the leads to benefit the whole business.”
