Local Asphalt Keeping Customers Informed

After recent visits with Jesus one of our Local Asphalt customers mentioned he still receives a text when one of our competitor’s Plants is down and then up and running again, even though he doesn’t use them. 

Alan O’Connor and the local Team thought it would be a good idea at Local Asphalt.  Alan comments: “We decided not only to let the customer know when the Plant is down and running again, but to let them know which Plants are open on Sundays or out of hours, text the person on site when their delivery has left the Plant, and promote new products such as the tools we are now selling.

We got our first phone at Liverpool recently and loaded it up with our entire customer’s numbers and sent the first message that Liverpool were open Sunday.  The drivers came in on the Sunday saying they were surprised to get the text but said it was an excellent idea as they normally have to ring themselves to find out which Plant is open.  We are now going to roll it out to all the other Local Asphalt Plants.”
