Late last year, CEMEX North West Readymix successfully completed the supply of 10,000m3 of Readymix concrete from our Manchester plant for a major project for BAM Construction.

The project, the new £68 million trauma unit at Salford Royal Hospital, once completed, will receive 90% of all major trauma patients in Greater Manchester and will include a resuscitation area, five emergency theatres, inpatients beds, and diagnostic imaging. It will be a hub site for high-risk emergency general surgery and also a new helipad to ensure patients receive timely treatment with an anticipated 360 landings every year.
