Congratulations to Readymix ISR, Kelly Brown, who secured 174m3 cash sale this week for Atlantic Wind Services for a Wind Turbine base at Middle Head Wind Farm Consett.  The customer insisted they required 6 trucks (although with the distance from the Plant 4 trucks would be enough); however, Kelly secured some additional services on the contract charging for the extra 2 trucks. Making it the largest single cash sale in the NE so far (we think!).

Our IHCs also identified a safety issue with access to the site – only a single track road over a mile long with no passing places. Kelly arranged for a member of the Ops Team to call on site.  They decided that traffic management would have to be in place before delivery.  Kelly ensured we received confirmation from the customer that this was in place before we began delivery.

We delivered to the contract perfectly with great feedback from the customer.

Atlantic Wind have another base to pour in the next two weeks and after their experience of Kelly’s professional approach we are confident of securing this contract too.
