Our UK Shepperton Sand and Gravel quarry recently welcomed processing plant suppliers, McLanahan, who hosted an open day showcasing the site’s processing Plant to potential new customers from across the UK.

With more than 60 visitors attending throughout the day, the event provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of the Plant while sharing insight into its day-to-day operation and the strong working relationship between Cemex and McLanahan.

Teams on site played an important role in supporting the event, answering questions, sharing operational experience and helping visitors understand how the Plant performs in a live production environment.

Following the event, McLanahan thanked the Shepperton team and everyone involved for their support and collaboration in hosting the day, highlighting the willingness to open the site and work together to deliver a positive and engaging experience for visitors.

The feedback from attendees was extremely positive, with McLanahan recognising the professionalism, knowledge and hospitality shown by the team throughout the day. They also acknowledged the significant work happening behind the scenes to make the event a success and thanked the wider Cemex team for their contribution.
