Recently, Paul Crowther, Product Standards Manager, and the team at Cemex’s Rochester sleeper factory worked together with the LabExperts team at The UK National Technical Centre to complete a circular economy project.

This involved looking at different proportions of Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA) into sleepers. This was a commercial project for one of our customers and Paul and the team kindly helped finish the project by casting sleepers containing RCA.  The customer was really pleased with the test results.
