What3words is a geo-location app, available for free and usable both on and offline which divides the world into 3 x 3 metre squares, with each square given a unique three-word reference, making every square easy to find.

We will shortly be starting a pilot in the East Midlands where we will give the Readymix Drivers at Mansfield, Heanor and Derby ‘what3words’ addresses to navigate to.

We hope the test will prove the use of w3w will improve our on-time delivery % and remove a lot of the confusion that can be caused by post codes (which often cover multiple properties, sometimes hundreds!).
