Many congratulations to Garry Webster, Northern Regional Mortar and Screed Manager, for reaching 25 years with the company. 

Garry kindly sent us a few words of reflection: “It doesn’t seem 25 years since I started out my CEMEX career as a Lab Technician in Leyburn Quarry. The journey from there has been very exciting, spending time in operations and sales before moving into management roles. Along the way I have made some good friends, worked with great colleagues and managed successful teams. This is what makes the job enjoyable.

Our business is very different to how it was back then, embracing many changes to make the company the successful business that it is today. My latest chapter is very exciting working with the Northern Management Team and developing strategies with the Mortar and Screed team to grow our business across the Region. I look forward to the next 25 years; I just hope they don’t go as quick as the last ones!”
