Many thanks to Phil for his commitment and support to myself and the business over the past 25 years. He started with RMC on 30th June 1997 as a yard man when Alexandra Dock plant was open in Liverpool, and now as Plant Manager at Huyton Readymix plant since CEMEX UK took over RMC.
There’s always a tale or two from Phil. He always has his little book of excuses ready for when I turn up at the plant, but he has always been a valued and essential part of the Operations team we have in Lancs and Mersey that keep on producing whatever challenges are thrown at us.
