Emma Wright, Legal Secretary in Rugby Office, came across a 300 year-old property document in our deed packet for Divet Hill the other day!!  It dates back to 1697.  Emma commented, “I think that’s the oldest legal document I have ever seen or handled.  Just think it was written when Christopher Wren’s St Paul’s Cathedral was first consecrated and William of Orange and Mary II jointly ruled England, Scotland and Ireland!”
