A message from Sergio Menendez, former EMEA President…..

As you are all aware, new organisational changes were announced last week and I would like to reflect on this.

Over the past 6 years, I have had the incredible opportunity to lead Cemex EMEA activities, as well as oversee operations in our region.

During this time, we’ve faced numerous challenges, celebrated many accomplishments and most importantly, embarked on a journey rich with learning experiences between all the countries.

I am glad we’ve built a strong team “One Cemex” over the years with a deep sense of purpose and I am pleased to have had the opportunity to meet so many of you in person.

Beginning of March, I will be taking on a new role within Cemex being responsible for Cemex Mexico. As ever, I will approach this new chapter with the same dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism that have always driven my career.

You are a fantastic team, full of dedication and passion, so I have no doubt that under the leadership of Jose Antonio Cabrera you will achieve further success.

I look forward to our continued collaboration and I am sure that our paths will cross.
