Congratulations to Alex Mayburry who has recently celebrated an impressive 15 years of service with Cemex.

Throughout his career Alex has demonstrated commitment, resilience and a willingness to embrace new opportunities. He began his Cemex journey as an Asphalt & Aggregate Driver based at Washwood Heath, successfully adapting through a number of business changes, including site closures and relocations, while continuing to provide excellent support.

Alex later joined the planning team at Binley, where he quickly established himself as a highly valued member of the team. His professionalism, dedication and consistently high standard of work earned him regular recognition from colleagues and customers alike.

Building on his extensive local knowledge and strong customer relationships, Alex then moved into an Asphalt commercial role on secondment. He adapted quickly, developed his skills and soon became an integral member of the team, ultimately making the role his own. His continued commitment and strong performance has made him a valued asset to the business.
